Dr. Jose Bejarano is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in adult mental health. A native of Ecuador, he trained at the Universidad Estatal de Guayaquil, New York Medical College—chapter Richmond University Medical Center, and Yale University. Recognized for his work locally and internationally, he has published research, lectured on mental health, and raised awareness in the Hispanic community through Univision’s Contigo en la Comunidad.
Guided by his motto, “Healing Minds,” Dr. Bejarano takes a person-centered approach, combining clinical expertise with education and awareness to help patients achieve balance, resilience, and meaningful healing. With deep cultural sensitivity, he understands the importance of personal background and cultural context in mental health, ensuring that every patient feels seen, respected, and supported throughout their journey.
